À la mode: Seychelles look of the week

We couldn't help ourselves from admiring this vintage cotton jumpsuit! We love the way that Tran adds a nautical twist to this striped romper with a gold anchor necklace. Not to mention, we are completely obsessed with her minty green bag, its perfect for spring! Completing the outfit... "black Seychelles heels are the perfect ending to such striped madness." Belle...

Faye Dunaway portrayed depression-era bank robber, Bonnie Parker with gun-swinging style. Her character in the 1967 film, Bonnie and Clyde, became an instant fashion icon and continues to influence runways today. With Faye Dunaway as this weeks style icon, I felt it fitting to create our own Seychelle's rendition of her 1930s style. Shop "Dolores" here.

A song and dance to start your week

Ok, its confirmed. I'm a stickler for stop-motion film. Chalk full of whimsy, this one featuring A Fine Frenzy is especially charming.

À la mode: Seychelles look of the week

This week we have chosen a 90’s minimalist inspired look put together by Leslie S. We love her all black ensemble and grey grandma sweater held together by a brass embellished belt. Meteor Shower lace-up boots complete the outfit and create one of our favorite seasonless color-combos: brown, grey and black.
View more looks from Leslie S. here. Shop "Meteor Shower" here.

Seychelles on the runway!

We were so excited to work with designer Sarah Brannon on her Chelsea Rebelle Fall '10 runway show earlier this month. We are extremely excited about our new relationship with both of these creative girls.
Sarah selected Seychelles' Belle, Under Construction, Charm, Blimey, Spectacle and Banjo to complete her looks.

Belle...

Edie Sedgwick proved to be an enchanting force when she arrived on the scene in 1965. With her charisma, beauty, and demand for attention, she is this week's style icon obsession. Take a look at Edie's very first film, "Poor Little Rich Girl". Although mostly out of focus, this film solidifies Andy Warhol's draw to her.

Seychelles on the runway!

Have you heard of our newest friend, Linda Wong, designer of The Battalion? Maggie Gyllenhaal has, and loves wearing her pieces. Yet another reason why we are so honored that Seychelles was a part of The Battalion's Fall 2010 runway show.

Seychelles' Gypsy, Meteor Shower II, and Dos-i-do were selected for the show. We can't wait to work with The Battalion again
